Business Achievement Award
The purpose of these awards are to encourage, acknowledge and reward valuable contributions and outstanding achievements in regional and rural areas. The focus of the awards are small to medium size businesses, organisations involved in promoting the community through events and tourism, individuals providing leadership and initiative and community groups enhancing the social, economic, commercial and environmental prosperity of their region.

Upon accepting the trophy Luv-a-Duck's General Manager John Millington devoted the award to the company's late founder, Arthur Shoppee, who passed away in July 2009.
