4000 TO LUNCH? EXPECT A FEW SNAGS
..."Spare a thought for caterer Tony Le Deux as the head chef for the World's Longest Lunch in Melbourne, he is preparing to dish up a gourmet three course feast to about 1000 hungry diners.
The ambitious exercise will see a team of 45 chefs who will serve up 1100 DUCK BREASTS, 100kg of salmon, 2000 bottles of wine and 1200 cups of coffee.
The lunch is to be held along the promenade at NewQuay at Docklands......"
Pictured is a photo of one of the 1100 duck breast main course meals. The duck breast was hot, tasty and tender. Well done team.
