Roast Half Duck

Luv-a-Duck's tender, meaty duck is roasted until the skin is golden brown and the meat cooked to perfection. Presented in two convenient portions, all you have to do is simply heat and serve. It's so easy.

TO PREPARE

1. If frozen, defrost in the refrigerator.
2. Remove Roasted Half Duck from the bag.

TO HEAT

Oven
Place skin side up in a hot oven, approx. 15 mins

Grill
Place skin side up under a hot grill until sizzling, crispy and hot.

Wok
Cut into pieces and toss in a very hot wok with a little vegetable oil.

Microwave
Place skin side up for approx. 5 mins until hot.

RECIPE IDEAS

Roasted Duck Half Platter with Buttered English Spinach

  • Cut the two duck portions in half again, and heat as suggested.
  • Fry pine nuts in a dry pan until golden.
  • Gently fry some spinach in a little butter and season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  • Arrange spinach on a plate, sprinkle with the toasted pine nuts and place the duck on top.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve roast duck portions with roast vegetables and your favourite sauce or gravy, or with Asian greens and rice, or slice and add to Chinese pancakes with Hoisin sauce.
