Luv-a-Duck's Honey Roast Duck Legs have been marinated and roasted long and slow until cooked to perfection. The golden Honey Roast Duck Legs are ready to heat and serve. It's so easy.

TO PREPARE

1. If frozen, defrost in the refrigerator.
2. Remove Honey Roast Duck Legs from the bag.

TO HEAT

Oven
Place Honey Roast Duck Legs skin side up in an oven dish in a hot oven, approx. 15-20 mins.

Grill
Place Honey Roast Duck Legs in an oven dish skin side down under a hot grill for about 5 mins, turn over until the skin is crisp and the meat is piping hot.

BBQ
Wrap in foil with all the juices from the bag and heat through on the BBQ plate for about 10-15 mins, carefully remove from foil and quickly brown on each side.

Microwave*
Place in a microwavable dish and heat in microwave for approx. 2-3 mins.
*Microwaving does not produce a crispy skin.

RECIPE IDEAS

Honey Roast Duck Legs on sesame carrots.

  • Roast or steam pieces of baby carrots and zucchini.
  • When cooked, toss with a little butter and a teaspoon of roasted sesame seeds.
  • Meanwhile warm the Honey Roast Duck Legs as suggested.
  • Place the Honey Roast Duck Legs on top of the sesame carrots and zucchini and serve with a side salad.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Roast some potatoes and pumpkin in duck fat while the Honey Roast Duck Legs are warming and serve with gravy.

Or cut the meat from the bone and add to pasta or risotto.
