Sweet Treats - Meringues Topped With Berry Compote and Creme Fraiche

A lovely dessert to end a wonderful duck meal.

INGREDIENTS

6 small meringue nests (available in most supermarkets)
300ml creme fraiche
1 punnet raspberries
1 punnet blueberries
1 punnet blackberries
1/2 cup icing sugar
Fresh mint leaves

METHOD

Place meringues in the centre of a plate and add a good sized dollop of creme fraiche to the top.
Scatter the fresh berries over the creme fraiche, garnish with mint leaves and dust with icing sugar.

If fresh berries are not available, use frozen, but place into a bowl to defrost, toss in icing sugar and use.
