For a more traditional presentation, remove the skin and seeds from the tomatoes and only dice the flesh.
As pasta is fresh and the filling is cooked, it only needs to boil for a few minutes. Be careful not to overcook.
This is a quick and tasty 10 minute recipe.
375gm Luv-a-Duck ravioli
1/2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 roma tomatoes, diced
Fresh basil leaves, torn
Salt & pepper
Cook the ravioli in boiling water for 5 mins then drain.
Be careful not to overcook.
Heat the olive oil in a frypan and on a gentle heat cook the onion for a few minutes.
Place the drained ravioli in the frypan and gently turn in the olive oil.
Add the tomato and basil.
Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
