Luv-A-Ducks premium Duck mince is perfect for this tasty recipe. It has a wholesome full flavour that will ensure this recipe becomes a family tradition!
Filling:
2kg Luv-A-Duck duck mince (well strained)
1 small brown onion finely chopped
2 spring onions finely sliced
2 large cloves garlic crushed
1 large carrot
1/2 twig of fresh rosemary
1 tblsp seeded mustard
1.5 tblsp sweet soy (ketchup manis)
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground paprika
half fresh foccacia into breadcrumbs
salt and pepper to taste
Sheets puff pastry
Olive oil
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Add all of the filling ingredients to a large bowl and mix by hand until the mixture is firm.
Lay pastry sheets on a clean bench.
Place mixture into line 3cm wide and 2cm high along the length of the pastry.
Carefully roll pastry over filling to create your sausge roll, and press sides together to ensure they are joined. Cut to desired lengths.
Drizzle rolls with olive oil.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
