Chinese hoisin sauce would make a good alternative to satay sauce.
These wraps make for an informal snack or starter to a meal and can be delightfully messy.
1 Luv-a-Duck Roast Duck Breast, sliced thinly
1/4 cup satay sauce
1 iceberg lettuce, large leaves only
1/2 cup carrot, finely cut into matchsticks
Extras as you like -
Finely chopped spring onion
Chopped unsalted peanuts
Mint leaves
Sweet chilli sauce
Place the satay sauce in a little dish and arrange on a platter with the lettuce and carrot.
Warm the sliced duck under a hot grill or in a hot oven and arrange on the platter.
Wrap duck and carrot in the lettuce leaves and dip.
Place in the middle of the table for your guest to serve themselves.
