Absolutely loved this class – Wendy our teacher was very patient and very knowledgeable in all things duck. I definitely recommend doing one – and I can’t wait to do another one!!

— Livia

This was my first class here and I will definitely consider other classes here and recommend to my friends. Excellent preparation and clear guidance from the warm and friendly teaching lead, I learnt a lot of new and easy French duck dishes. A warm welcome and wonderful experience. Great for food lovers and a good gift idea. Thanks!

Enjoyable small group class where you learn delicious duck recipes that don’t seem daunting to cook at home! Wendy the teacher was excellent.

Wendy gave us an excellent introduction to jointing and carving duck before we split into twos to work on 2 recipes per pair. The morning split into two – a late morning break to try the parfait and soup entrees, and lunch after we’d finished cooking all the other recipes. None of them were overly complicated and it was great to try everything at lunch. There was an opportunity, of course, to buy duck produce at the end of the class. Recommendation – if you go, don’t have a heavy breakfast. You need room for all that duck!

— Annie

Incredible class, very well run with a range of dishes which were all amazing to taste. Particularly the confit duck. Would recommend to anyone considering learning how to cook with duck

— Michelle

the class was a wonderful experience..great fun working in a commercial kitchen with a group of cooks. The recipes are ‘simple when you know how’ and I’ve practised them all since the class. I’d love to come back for the Christmas cook

— Karen

Excellent class with great recipes & as always very professional & friendly instructor. Will recommend to. Everybody who likes a duck. I will definitely do another class in the future.

What a fun, well organised and informative few hours this turned out to be. So much is covered in such a short time in an authoritative yet extremely friendly manner. Everything is set up before arrival to ensure available time is optimised and timings of dishes work out well to allow a break for Entree and then a return to sample a table of everyone’s food at the end. Highly recommend this for ‘foodies’, duck aficionado’s or anyone who wishes to learn something new.

My daughter and I had a great time at the French Inspired lesson. Karol had a huge amount of information and tips to share and the hands-on approach worked well with the relatively small group. Because we actually worked with the recipes provided, tasted our results and were able to view and taste others’ results, we learned a great deal that day. The resulting feast at the end was awesome. Thanks Karol and Liz and the Luv-A-Duck team. We’ll definitely take part in another course.

This class was fantastic, Wendy was a wonderful teacher and I feel far more confident cooking with duck but also being in the kitchen and cooking in general.

— Ash

Had a fantastic day. The class was just the right size, well organized and ran really smoothly. Had fun meeting new people we all got on and worked well together. Would highly recommend anyone to attend one of these classes. I will definitely be doing another one.

Excellent Session – Wendy is a great teacher – so positive and encouraging – makes you feel you’re doing a marvellous job! Such good value with all the dishes tackled (and devoured!). I will certainly go again.

— Myra

Very impressed. The class was highly informative, clearly communicated, well structured so every dish was finished at the appropriate time, and the recipes were absolutely delicious. Thank you Wendy and Luv-A-Duck!

I went by myself and still had a heap of fun! Lots to cook and you can watch everyone else with the different recipes! All were yummy and had great instruction from Wendy and Cal! THANK YOU!!

— Julia

My daughter and I both really enjoyed the duck cooking class. I thought that Wendy was an amazing teacher, very calm and clear with her instructions. It was a pleasure to sit and enjoy our cooking with Wendy and the other participants. I have always been a bit unsure about cooking duck but now I feel confident doing it.
I certainly want to do another class, maybe even getting a group of friends together fo the class.

— Michelle

Spent last evening at French duck cooking class (as in French cooking, they weren’t French ducks!). The evening was well organized with good communication before hand of what to wear, where to come, time etc. There were 10 of us there split into groups of 2 and cooking 2 courses each. Hats off to our chef and guide Wendy who did a fantastic job ensuring we all managed to produce some really tasty French food. There are apparently 6 other courses available and quite confident we will be back for another one.
