Reviews

This was a most enjoyable class with Wendy starting from the very basic on how to dissect a roasted duck successfully, to moving on to a varied number of recipes from entree to main courses. Group participation was a good way of being taught how to prepare a recipe. Her assistant was instrumental in making sure that the kitchen remained at all times tidy ad there was everything provided for us to ensure that it was a very enjoyable and successful time spent. A good investment.

A wonderful evening full of duck and handy tips

— Jill

My 3rd visit, another fantastic class. Everytime I go even though we always cover the basics first, I always learn more about how to prepare a duck. Wendy has enviable knife and cooking skills.

— Marc

Fantastic educational morning

— Joan

We learnt the right way to cook several French duck dishes. It was excellent. Wendy is a star.

— Peter

This class was fantastic, Wendy was a wonderful teacher and I feel far more confident cooking with duck but also being in the kitchen and cooking in general.

— Ash

Excellent venue and instruction. Always a good experience with excellent food and lots of easy recipes to learn and enjoy.

— Graham

Loved the format and kitchen layout but found the bench space /stove restricted with everyone cooking. Room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable. Breakdown of a duck informative. Confy, casserole and parfait excellent and really simple compared to many recipes we have seen. Use of duck sausage rather then pork was interesting as duck and fennel sausage had excellent flavour. Will add to our shopping list. Various duck breast dishes ok but way too much food. Had a good night and enjoyed the experience.

— Patricia

Great night and excellent way to understand the many ways to prepare and cook duck. Excellent value and a good experience.

— Murray

Very good class well done to the presenter Wendy and they Organisers

— Lee

Absolutely loved the experience. Wendy and Gail were amazing hosts and there was a great selection of recipes for everyone to work on. I bought this for my Duck loving partner and he had a fantastic day!

— Cameron

What a fun, well organised and informative few hours this turned out to be. So much is covered in such a short time in an authoritative yet extremely friendly manner. Everything is set up before arrival to ensure available time is optimised and timings of dishes work out well to allow a break for Entree and then a return to sample a table of everyone’s food at the end. Highly recommend this for ‘foodies’, duck aficionado’s or anyone who wishes to learn something new.

— Lorraine

A very informative, well-organized hands-on cooking experience in a great kitchen setting.

— Sue

Great experience and learning – highly recommend

— Simon

What a great night of cooking duck with a French influence.

Wendy and Gail were great teachers and hosts who made us all feel very comfortable and confident with the cooking instructions

We all sat around the table eating our meals while discussing the menu of all the delicious meals .

We will definitely return for another cooking session

— Sam

The French Inspired Duck class was very informative. The hands on cooking really helps you learn the techniques. There was some much food available to sample that I could try everything on offer.

— Pamela

The virtual cooking class was a pleasant experience which you can do at the comfort of your own kitchen, recipes were easy to follow, and the dishes turn out very professional presented and flavours are amazing. Wendy is very good at explaining each recipe and how we can nail it, I enjoyed it very much. Will definitely try other cooking class too when it become available.
