What a wonderful concept. Learning to cook delicious duck dishes from the comfort of my own kitchen. Booking online was easy, emails leading up to the class were timely and informative, the delivery of the duck and ingredients went smoothly, the preparation instructions were easy to follow and the class was fun and interactive. What a fun class. Our instructor, Wendy, gives very clear instructions on each aspect of cooking with duck, from dissecting the raw duck to the method of cooking each fabulous French dish. Amazing the many different flavours that I now know I can add to my list. Wendy never misses a beat.

My husband and I participated in the french inspired duck on Saturday and we loved it. We were in a class of 10 with each pair making 2 different dishes. We went through basics like roasting and cutting a duck to making confit duck. Then it came to sitting down for lunch and eating our 10 dishes with wine. OMG we ate well. Wendy was very patient and knowledeable and Gail did all our dishes. It was an amazing afternoon. We will be back!

My daughter and I both really enjoyed the duck cooking class. I thought that Wendy was an amazing teacher, very calm and clear with her instructions. It was a pleasure to sit and enjoy our cooking with Wendy and the other participants. I have always been a bit unsure about cooking duck but now I feel confident doing it.
I certainly want to do another class, maybe even getting a group of friends together fo the class.

This was a fun and educational class. From the coffee on arrival to the buffet at the end, it is non-stop learning. I don’t know what other classes are like, but learning how to section a duck and cooking in a commercial kitchen were my highlights.

Loved how we were taught how to break down a duck and it wasn’t just provided in its pieces.
They also taught us little tips and tricks about HOW to cut the pieces out and different seasonings that would work really well with the different cuts.

A great mix of people, all of them “Foodies”. 3 guys and the rest women a total of eight, we then split into 4 teams to cook 2 dishes each. Outcome was YUM, YUM, YUM!!! Would definitely recommend this as a great gift or experience. Very well run & organized, thanks to Wendy (LE chef) & Rhonda.

Do it…. Seriously, take the class. Wendy was a great teacher, I was left without a partner and that didn’t matter in the slightest. The food tasted incredible and the recipes are so simple… do yourself a big favour and take the class!
