Absolutely loved this class – Wendy our teacher was very patient and very knowledgeable in all things duck. I definitely recommend doing one – and I can’t wait to do another one!!

What a great night of cooking duck with a French influence.

Wendy and Gail were great teachers and hosts who made us all feel very comfortable and confident with the cooking instructions

We all sat around the table eating our meals while discussing the menu of all the delicious meals .

We will definitely return for another cooking session

— Sam

It was fun and good experience overall. Also the introduction of the luvaduck’s was very skillful.

— Andrew

What a fun class. Our instructor, Wendy, gives very clear instructions on each aspect of cooking with duck, from dissecting the raw duck to the method of cooking each fabulous French dish. Amazing the many different flavours that I now know I can add to my list. Wendy never misses a beat.

A fun and interesting night out with family. Thank you to the amazing staff who were an absolute delight to have teaching us. Wendy is a credit to your business!
Would highly recommend to anyone for any occasion – cooking is not my forte, but your teaching quality was calm, encouraging and 10/10.

Thanks for a lovely evening x

— Sarah

What a fun, well organised and informative few hours this turned out to be. So much is covered in such a short time in an authoritative yet extremely friendly manner. Everything is set up before arrival to ensure available time is optimised and timings of dishes work out well to allow a break for Entree and then a return to sample a table of everyone’s food at the end. Highly recommend this for ‘foodies’, duck aficionado’s or anyone who wishes to learn something new.

This class was fantastic, Wendy was a wonderful teacher and I feel far more confident cooking with duck but also being in the kitchen and cooking in general.

— Ash

Very much enjoyed the lesson, the cooking and the eating!! Our instructors were excellent , helping us cheerfully along the way and overall very impressive. Hope to return one day for another lesson.

My friend and I engaged in this 3.5 hr hands on course recently.

It was conducted by Wendy, and ably assisted by Adam.

This is my 2nd LuvaDuck course, and it was superb

The demystifying of duck is impeccably presented, and the standard and quality of the training process merits accolades.
I have high praise for the conduct of this course, and certainly have recommended it to my friends and colleagues

Wendy was a great teacher. Professional kind and completely understanding when we explained we were beginners. Thanks for a day well spent!

— Stephanie

Loved the format and kitchen layout but found the bench space /stove restricted with everyone cooking. Room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable. Breakdown of a duck informative. Confy, casserole and parfait excellent and really simple compared to many recipes we have seen. Use of duck sausage rather then pork was interesting as duck and fennel sausage had excellent flavour. Will add to our shopping list. Various duck breast dishes ok but way too much food. Had a good night and enjoyed the experience.

— Patricia

My Luv A Duck experience was fabulous. The instructor was great. The recipes were easy to follow and delicious. I learned so much about the preparation of the duck and the products. I would recommend this class to anyone.

— Julie

Our instructor was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. We made some delicious food and learnt many different ways to prepare duck. Will be looking at going back for a different themed duck class in the future.

— Lauren

Spent last evening at French duck cooking class (as in French cooking, they weren’t French ducks!). The evening was well organized with good communication before hand of what to wear, where to come, time etc. There were 10 of us there split into groups of 2 and cooking 2 courses each. Hats off to our chef and guide Wendy who did a fantastic job ensuring we all managed to produce some really tasty French food. There are apparently 6 other courses available and quite confident we will be back for another one.

— Mal

Thanks Wendy for a very enjoyable evening learning all the aspects of duck French cooking and all the little hints that go with it. The food we all cooked with your assistance was amazing!!

— Doris

Wendy gave us an excellent introduction to jointing and carving duck before we split into twos to work on 2 recipes per pair. The morning split into two – a late morning break to try the parfait and soup entrees, and lunch after we’d finished cooking all the other recipes. None of them were overly complicated and it was great to try everything at lunch. There was an opportunity, of course, to buy duck produce at the end of the class. Recommendation – if you go, don’t have a heavy breakfast. You need room for all that duck!

— Annie

We're a ducking good time

We’ve got hands-on classes, talented chefs, and a whole lot of fun!
