My friend and I had a great time at the Duck Finger Food Class – Hands-On on Saturday, 29 June at 11am.
There was more than enough food for everyone to eat with plenty of variety.
The wines which were served throughout the lunch were perfectly matched.
Wendy and Lyn were very friendly and helpful, with plenty of tips.

This class was my third experience in working with duck,at the LuvaDuck kitchen.

It is a 2.5 hr journey with hands on experience, and is conducted in an exemplary way.
The staff are very attentive, knowledgeable and highly competent—especially Wendy who conducts the class. This class is very recommendable not only to those who desire to work with duck, but offers very good general cooking techniques.

I would highly recommend this and other LuvaDuck courses. Zyg Kaminski

Had been to a demonstration class before – this time was a hands on one. Loved learning how to cook some duck finger food with a glass or two of pinot noir to wash it down. Wendy is a terrific demonstrator and we learnt heaps. We had a living social voucher so made it very good value. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thoroughly recommend.

We had such a fun time on the duck canapés class. Each couple made two different canapés to share with the group over a glass of wine and everything was well organised. A perfect introduction to cooking duck at home for those who love duck but are not sure where to begin with cooking it. Definitely looking at attending future cooking classes.

Our finger food class with Luv-a-Duk absolutely smashed my expectations, I cannot recommend it enough! Undoubtably a 10/10 experience. The chef, Karol was bursting with excitement and enthusiasm and Liz was so welcoming and supportive during cooking. We had so much fun and left with a very full stomach! Absolutely brilliant value for money, thank you ladies, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you!

— Matthew

Had a great time in the finger food course and would recommend it as a great starting point. If you were trying duck for the first time or wanting to cook it yourself it’s a great experience and we’ll do it again.

— Terry

The trainers Wendy and Nicki were incredible. Very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food that was provided was incredible.
Left rolling out the building and will most definitely be doing more of these classes!

— Claire

What a fantastic class! Very professional, but fun. Fantastic recipes that would be easy to re-create at home. We made about 10 different finger foods that were all delicious. The people running the class were incredibly welcoming, really knew their stuff, and were open and communicative and dealt with all our question. I would highly recommend Luv-a-duck cooking class, and plan to go again sometime in the future.

— Rachel

Wendy managed the 6 groups with ease. She was aware of what was happening, and managed to ‘be there’ every time we needed help. She made a very positive contribution to the activities.

— Ron

It’s such a fun and rewarding cooking class. Highly recommended.

— Sarah

We had a fabulous, informative and extremely entertaining night. It was very educational and we learnt so much in such a short time. So well structured with five teams of two working along side each other. Our teacher,Wendy and her assistant Ali,we’re so helpful and over the course of 3 hours wehad all created an entrée and main then sat and shared the banquet with some fine wine and good company sharing our experience and discussing the dishes we’d created. Certainly value for money and a lovely venue. Thanks so much!

— Lyn

We were taught lots of new and delicious finger food recipes. Wendy was an excellent teacher and had so much food to eat a really great night out as well.

— Pat

The instructors had great knowledge but the class was very rushed and all over the place. It felt like we were being pushed to leave. At this stage would not recommend going

— Maree

Helped throughout the night .
Lots to eat at the end along with a glass or two of champs/ wine .

— Pam

A really informative night with plenty of yummy food and great staff. Would definitely do it again !!!!

— Leanne

— Sue

Luv A Duck is fantastic. This is the 4th or 5th class I have done with them. Knowledgeable instructors. Super helpful assistants. Quality food. Easy to follow instructions. Modern facilities. Fantastic way to spend a chunk of your day!

— Lee

There was so much to learn on the evening. I think the best was being taught how to roast a duck correctly for the best crisp skin. The whole evening was better than we expected, Wendy is a great ambassador for Luv a Duck she is so happy to help and share her knowledge. Everyone got on well and the banquet at the end of the class was 10 out of 10. I will certainly being some more classes.

— Sandra

So many great tips & tricks, only surpassed by the huge amount of food!! Fast-paced, fun & full. Thanks all

— Matt

It was a good class and I did learn some things about cooking with duck that i did not know. Well worth the price we paid for the class.

— Kay

We felt the class was so hands on. Was very enjoyable. Loved tasting what we all made. Would highly recommend anyone wanting to do course.
