Reviews

We felt the class was so hands on. Was very enjoyable. Loved tasting what we all made. Would highly recommend anyone wanting to do course.

— Phil

I did a Google review. Please refer to that.

What an experience! So much fun and being hands on, we learned heaps about all sorts of duck finger food dishes from the friendly and more than capable staff of Wendy, Rhonda and Carole who were so efficient. So good that we have booked a group of eight for their Asian cooking class. I couldn’ recommend the experience more highly as it was certainly much greater than the money paid.

— Debbie

The trainers Wendy and Nicki were incredible. Very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food that was provided was incredible.
Left rolling out the building and will most definitely be doing more of these classes!

— Claire

Duck Finger Food Class was a fun night. The host, Karol and Joanne were very organised and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. At the end of the night, the whole class set down together and got to enjoy our hard work, yummy! We will book another class and be back again.

How to roast a duck and have crackly skin

— Julia

The food was delicious and plentiful. My only gripe was that the instructor explained the entire menu before we got into the kitchen, and again afterwards before we started cooking – there was a lot of wasted time! Also the level of assumed general cooking knowledge is low, so be prepared for that if you’re already comfortable in the kitchen.

— Susie

Highly Recommend! It was great fun learning and eating. Well organised and generous amount of recipes to prepare. Just wished we could of taken some home.

— Kerrilyne

We had a fabulous, informative and extremely entertaining night. It was very educational and we learnt so much in such a short time. So well structured with five teams of two working along side each other. Our teacher,Wendy and her assistant Ali,we’re so helpful and over the course of 3 hours wehad all created an entrée and main then sat and shared the banquet with some fine wine and good company sharing our experience and discussing the dishes we’d created. Certainly value for money and a lovely venue. Thanks so much!

— Lyn

A really informative night with plenty of yummy food and great staff. Would definitely do it again !!!!

— Leanne

My second (and not my last) class here with Wendy instructing. A very well designed and clean kitchen. Very well organised and great support from the team. You learn so much else other than the large number of recipes. Really excellent value.

— Iain

This was my third Luv a Duck cooking class. The teachers make it very easy to make us all look very good and I always go home feeling happy and acoomplished with more fabulous recipes in my culinary resume.
I’ll be back !

Loved the finger food class. This is my second class and I’m continued to be amazed how versatile duck is. Knowledgeable and friendly instructors. Looking forward to a third class sometime soo

— Kerrianne

Had a great morning learning about how versatile duck can be cooked and how far it can go recipes were easy to follow and the food and and atmosphere were wonderful will come back again was great to be able to go out and enjoy what we love doing cooking and eating !! DQ

— Denise

What a fantastic class! Very professional, but fun. Fantastic recipes that would be easy to re-create at home. We made about 10 different finger foods that were all delicious. The people running the class were incredibly welcoming, really knew their stuff, and were open and communicative and dealt with all our question. I would highly recommend Luv-a-duck cooking class, and plan to go again sometime in the future.

— Rachel

Luv A Duck is fantastic. This is the 4th or 5th class I have done with them. Knowledgeable instructors. Super helpful assistants. Quality food. Easy to follow instructions. Modern facilities. Fantastic way to spend a chunk of your day!

— Lee

Great hands-on class with lots of tips and inspiration for cooking with duck. The kitchen is very well equipped and the instructor was friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend.

— Joyce

A fantastic cooking class. I learnt, with confidence, how to prepare a good selection of duck finger food. Well organised with supportive staff. Well done!

— Helen

Learnt how to portion the duck and also how to roast a perfect duck. Loved making the quesadillas and how easy they were to make. Also seeing all the other dishes and getting hints along the way. It was lovely to sit around the table and to be able to taste all the dishes and have a sip of wine. Would recommend the class

— Jane

Gosh, where shall I start. Firstly, this is a class not to be missed. A beautiful new stainless steel kitchen has been installed giving our work space more room to work.

The recipes for these finger food treats, put together by Karol Lesley, were varied from one dish to the other, and all using the same main ingredient, Luv-a-Duck Duck to make it shine.

— Margaret

We're a ducking good time

We’ve got hands-on classes, talented chefs, and a whole lot of fun!
