Reviews

The instructors had great knowledge but the class was very rushed and all over the place. It felt like we were being pushed to leave. At this stage would not recommend going

— Maree

Yes it was great. The teacher was great and had a very smart way of ensuring everyone finished their particular selection on time. My preference is to do less as there was a huge rush at the end. I would have preferred fewer dishes. But overall it was terrific. Loved the fact we were offered glass of wine then sat and ate and chatted up other participants in the class.

This was my second cooking class at Luv A Duck and both were wonderful. Wendy and Joan made us feel very welcome and guided us through the day with ease and great courtesy. Loved the food and will make some of the receipes very soon. Thank you.

— Jo

A very enjoyable fun class where we felt comfortable and welcome .
A huge range of duck finger foods were created , taste tested and discussed.
The recipes with instruction suit all abilities and use ingredients readily accessible in most home kitchens.
Once demonstrated these recipes are easy and fun to make at home – our children were impressed with our recreations!!
Great gift for all ages .

Kevin and I enjoyed our finger food class. Wendy was an excellent presenter and teacher. The recipes were all very different and delicious.

— Margaret

This class was a revelation – of the teacher’s knowledge and professionalism, of the doable possibilities with duck, and our own capacities to produce amazing appetisers. A wonderful experience – will definitely do another class. Thank you to the team.

— Jenny

Had so much fun at this cooking class. The teacher was super helpful and patient with us and we ended up cooking a delicious French duck feast!

— Stella

Loved the class, heaps of food to eat and great ideas for the next finger food occasion.

— Barbara

Excellent hands of class again. I have done others classes in the past and they all were very enjoyable and good learning experience. As I was able to watch and learn hands on, it makes it easier to do those recipes at home. Finger food class was great learning experience and I already know, which recipes I will use to and to entertained friend, who has been enjoying my duck dinner parties.

Learnt how to portion the duck and also how to roast a perfect duck. Loved making the quesadillas and how easy they were to make. Also seeing all the other dishes and getting hints along the way. It was lovely to sit around the table and to be able to taste all the dishes and have a sip of wine. Would recommend the class

Tonight we had a great time learning about duck. Karol was terrific, her knowledge of Luv-a-duck and cooking was fabulous. I loved all the various dishes we made and the hands on experience of this class (her roast duck was exquisite) and all the recipes we made and tasted were spot on. I keep dreaming of the sliders and those mouth watering Thai duck cakes. I cant wait to come back and do another class, next time I am going to bring some friends, its a truly wonderful experience.

We had a fabulous, informative and extremely entertaining night. It was very educational and we learnt so much in such a short time. So well structured with five teams of two working along side each other. Our teacher,Wendy and her assistant Ali,we’re so helpful and over the course of 3 hours wehad all created an entrée and main then sat and shared the banquet with some fine wine and good company sharing our experience and discussing the dishes we’d created. Certainly value for money and a lovely venue. Thanks so much!

— Lyn
