Thanks Wendy for a very enjoyable evening learning all the aspects of duck French cooking and all the little hints that go with it. The food we all cooked with your assistance was amazing!!

— Doris

This was a fun class, with lots of knowledge and skills learned along the way. We sampled many dishes and they were all delicious. It’s so much easier to cook duck than I thought!

— Joanne

The recipes were simple and delicious. Both Wendy and Peta were charming, knowledgeable and friendly. Loved having all those different dishes with our fellow participants, all in all a lovely, genteel way to spend a Saturday morning.

A very enjoyable night, good conversations, a few laughs, great food and very good teacher. Thankyou Wendy, Pony and the team.

— Katie

Wendy gave us an excellent introduction to jointing and carving duck before we split into twos to work on 2 recipes per pair. The morning split into two – a late morning break to try the parfait and soup entrees, and lunch after we’d finished cooking all the other recipes. None of them were overly complicated and it was great to try everything at lunch. There was an opportunity, of course, to buy duck produce at the end of the class. Recommendation – if you go, don’t have a heavy breakfast. You need room for all that duck!

— Annie

French Cuisine, the food was lovely and all participants were quite chuffed we produced such an amazing range of dishes.
Thank-you

— Chris

Thanks for a very informative and fun day.
Thoroughly enjoyable and Wendy is the perfect person to lead the group through the whole process. Especially with 11 people all trying to do different things. And thanks to the assistants a who were like the invisible fairies cleaning up around us !!

It was fun and good experience overall. Also the introduction of the luvaduck’s was very skillful.

— Andrew

This is the second course I have done – Asian Inspired duck then French inspired duck. Can’t impress on you how to wonderful the hands on cooking session are. Thanks Wendy and Vicki. You are awesome. Such an amazing duck feast at the end !!! Spectacular good value. Am going back to do the Duck and Pinot course – heard it is awesome !!!

— Josie

Loved the format and kitchen layout but found the bench space /stove restricted with everyone cooking. Room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable. Breakdown of a duck informative. Confy, casserole and parfait excellent and really simple compared to many recipes we have seen. Use of duck sausage rather then pork was interesting as duck and fennel sausage had excellent flavour. Will add to our shopping list. Various duck breast dishes ok but way too much food. Had a good night and enjoyed the experience.

— Patricia

Highly recommended . Lots of enjoyment . The recipe was easy to follow. Wendy was a superstar explaining the process in simple steps and gave us time to catch up if we were running a tad slow . She was also explaining some simple tricks to assistance for preparing in advance if you are time poor when preparing a dinner party etc . Thank you for a fun night .

— Kim

— Jaeger

What a pleasant way to spend an evening and gain new skills. The food was divine, the teachers calm and helpful. Couldn’t believe a bunch of novice cooks could produce such a feast. 7 dishes with apologies because we had such a small group we couldn’t do more! Can’t wait to do another.

— Carole
