Would recommend this to anyone regardless of your skill level in the kitchen – if there was a level before beginner that would be me and I left the kitchen having made two fantastic tasting meals and feeling much more confident. My husband and I did this class today, we had the best time with Wendy and Nicky as well as all our fellow cooks. It was all so inclusive of everything, information, friendly staff, so much food, fun and help to achieve all the recipes, then eat them all, how good was that.

The large Luv A Duck headquarters is close to light rail, buses and parking is at their venue. The group cooking class was inside an attractive and modern setting. There were tips about preparing, cooking and shopping for duck. Easy to follow take home recipe sheets. Lots of colour, flavours and fragrants from diverse ingredients such as cherries, quince, apricots and plums combined into a variety of duck recipes provided the group with a delicious sit down Christmas feast and drinks. Good value!

Fantastic session with competent and most knowledgable presenter. Learnt how to use duck in a vast range of recipes and was wonderful to have the opportunity for “hands on ” experience. This cooking class is really good, best way to end the year. Wendy did a good job in teaching us skills and show us how easy to prepare a whole duck (cooked and raw). I have more confident to cook whole duck from now on.

The class was well run and informative. Our group was actually 4 participants short of the number expected, which was in our favour – I’m wondering if the kitchen could’ve become a bit congested with more than the 8 people who attended. Overall, I’d definitely consider participating in more duck classes!

This class was absolutely wonderful! We learned how to break down a duck (more practice is needed, but now we know what to do) and so many different recipes to try at home. The hands on element is terrific, and it is so exciting to see your results being enjoyed by other participants. The teacher is incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging and supports everyone in the class. The 10% off produce at the end of the class is just such a bonus.
